It is therefore a reality that requires an unprecedented transformation of the concept of business management. With this in mind, PRIM sees this challenge as an opportunity to adapt its business towards a more sustainable, productive and efficient model.

CONTRIBUTION TO SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS
PRIM, aware of the responsibility that the private sector has to meet ESG goals has designed its ESG Plan 2023-2025 so that the company can maximise the impact of its efforts.
Its mission is to improve people’s lives through health and care. This led to five pillars being set aimed at contributing, even more so, to the SDG Goal: Good Health and Wellbeing. Likewise, the ESG MASTER PLAN 2023-2025 has made a commitment to technical training in the health sector. This means it has been able to expand its overall reach and include contributions to SDG Goal 4: Quality Education. It will also drive the SDG Goal 5: Gender Equality. In addition to all of this it seeks to reduce its environmental impact as part of the SDG Goal 13: Climate Action. Finally, as part of it its commitment, it will also offer help through partnerships, as stated in SDG Goal 17: Partnerships for the goals.
Since 2023, PRIM has been a member of the United Nations Global Compact alliance, demonstrating its firm commitment to people and the environment.
Health and wellbeing
Prim’s vision and mission are focused on offering innovative solutions that improve people’s lives, through its business activities in the health and wellbeing sector.
Gender equality
PRIM drew up its First Equality Plan in 2012. In 2020, it renewed its Equality Commission and is working on the launch of its Third Equality Plan, advised by an external consultant to achieve the objectives it has set out.
Decent work and economic growth
PRIM contributes directly to the employment in its supply, production and distribution phases and indirectly through the socio-economic impact generated in those areas in which it operates.
Responsible consumption and production
PRIM works with leading strategic allies in the national and international healthcare sector. Our critical suppliers, mostly medical device manufacturers, are companies that have strict compliance programmes in place.
The company ensures a mutual commitment through responsible legal clauses in the formalization of its contracts, which mainly cover four areas:
