Health & Safety Policy
Madrid, 1 October 2020
One of the fundamental principles of our Organisation is to provide safe working conditions in order to ensure the health and safety of all employees and of those involved with our activities. With this in mind, PRIM has a preventative objective to promote the continuous improvement of its health and safety management system and working environment, aimed at increasing the overall health and safety of its employees. This objective must be met taking into account the widely accepted standards of good practice and responding to the legal requirements in the field of Occupational Risk Prevention and the contractual requirements that are established or will be established in the future. In line with these principles, PRIM makes the following commitments:
- To comply with and ensure strict compliance with the legal requirements regarding Occupational Health and Safety in the execution of our business activity.
- To responsibly allocate and manage the technical, human and material resources necessary to achieve its objectives.
- To integrate Prevention Management as one more element and of the same importance as the rest of the Organisation’s Policies at all levels.
- To protect people and property from the inherent risks of their job by identifying, evaluating and managing them, with the constant aim of preventing any assessed risks and improving working conditions and the environment.
- To plan prevention management as a coherent collective that integrates technique, work organisation, working conditions, social relationships, and the influence of environmental factors on work.
- To guarantee workers, depending on the risks associated with the work, adequate health surveillance, general and specific training on the risks of the job, the equipment and suitable protection thereof, as well as a commitment to responsible preventive action in the workplace and work environment.
- To promote a participation and consultation policy among workers and the worker’s health and safety committees.
- To involve the management team in the achievement of the common planned preventive objectives, ensuring corrective and preventive actions have been set.
These fundamentals aim to ensure working conditions that allow the work to be carried out safely, hence the importance of their knowledge and compliance.
