PRIM’s New Educational Platform for Health Professionals: PrimAcademy
PrimAcademy offers certified training to improve the skills of healthcare professionals.
The PRIM Group has launched PrimAcademy, an innovative educational platform designed to provide education and training for healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists, rehabilitators, orthopaedic technicians, cardiologists and neurosurgeons, among other specialists.
PrimAcademy’s main objective is to offer certified training that enhances the competencies of healthcare professionals. This platform also aims to keep professionals informed about the latest innovations, techniques and technologies in orthopaedics, physiotherapy, rehabilitation, radiology, cardiology and neurosurgery, among other medical specialties. By fostering continuous professional development, PrimAcademy facilitates the acquisition of skills and knowledge that enable better service and care for patients.
PrimAcademy combines theoretical and practical training through seminars, workshops and webinars. These resources are available on the training platform, along with other educational support materials. In addition, conferences and lectures are organised to share experiences, discuss clinical cases and explore new trends in the healthcare sector.
Alejandro Babín, Head of the Central Area at Establishments Orthopaedic PRIM, has pointed out that “PrimAcademy is fundamental for the healthcare professional environment. With this initiative, we can understand the expectations and training needs of the professionals to whom we direct our business proposals and share the vast knowledge we have about our products. For us, it is a platform where we can transmit all PRIM’s expertise and, at the same time, a forum to communicate high added value knowledge”.
In addition, this platform provides access to innovations, products and technologies developed by the PRIM Group, helping professionals to apply them in clinical practice.
Recently, the Orthopaedic Technical Expert course in the design and manufacture of TSB type transtibial sockets has been given. This course aims to train orthopaedic professionals in the measurement, design, fabrication and alignment of prostheses for patients with infracondylar (below knee) amputations. This example demonstrates the high level of specialisation and training offered by PrimAcademy.
In addition to promoting the exchange of experiences and connecting professionals in the sector, PrimAcademy facilitates access to the PRIM Group’s latest innovations and technologies, thus contributing to improving clinical practice and patient care.
