The Board of Trustees of the Institute for the Development and Integration of Health (the IDIS Foundation) has approved the inclusion of PRIM as a new sponsor, resulting in it becoming one of the 23 entities that make up the IDIS Foundation group.

The IDIS Foundation is a non-profit organisation that aims to highlight the contribution of the private healthcare sector to the overall health of our country and to promote the improved health of all Spaniards. To do this, it promotes and develops every private healthcare initiative with the overall aim to create an optimal level of healthcare and assistance across all sectors of the population.

Its Board of Trustees is currently made up of 32 groups who are involved in the private healthcare sector in our country.

“This alliance consolidates our work as a multilateral non-profit foundation that integrates a wide range of hugely important and representative entities from throughout the health sector. The incorporation of the Prim group will provide us with specific knowledge in everything that is related to medical technology and mobility, autonomy and health care solutions to improve people’s quality of life. The integration of significant stakeholders and interest groups from the industry allows us to work transversally towards a better healthcare for all, making us a leader and spokesperson within the sector. Joining forces and multiplying our efforts is the only way that we will be able to build a global, sustainable, solvent, efficient, effective, collaborative and excellent healthcare system for our people,” says Marta Villanueva, director general of the IDIS Foundation.

For his part, Fernando Oliveros, executive director of PRIM, affirms that “as a leading Spanish company, we are delighted to have formalised our collaboration with the IDIS Foundation. It will allow us to work together with the other foundation partners to support the activities of the foundation’s strategic plan and join forces to work towards the common goal of improving people’s lives and delivering a higher quality and efficiency of care to our patients”.
