- Diana Morant has shown a particular interest in Aura, a project that the Prim Group is part of, for the early detection of neurodegenerative diseases
On 5 October, the Minister of Science and Innovation, Diana Morant Ripoll, visited PRIM’s corporate headquarters in the Fuencarral district of Madrid.
The aim of the visit was to gain first-hand knowledge of the Aura project, one of the PRIM Group’s technological innovation commitments.
The minister was accompanied by Lucia Comenge, chair of PRIM, Jorge Prim, vice-chair of PRIM and Fernando Oliveros, managing director of PRIM, as well as by Darío Ruiz and Sara Ramos, CEO and CFO, respectively, of the company Aura Robotix.
During her tour of the facilities, Diana Morant had plenty of positive words in regard to the solidity and adaptability of PRIM, which has 152 years of history and is a leader in the national health sector.
PRIM has a strong commitment to new technologies and uses this commitment as a cornerstone of its development with an investment of €1.5 million being made to support start-ups. One of these start-ups is Aura Robotix, which has designed a robotic platform to facilitate the non-invasive early diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer’s.
