PRIM finalises new acquisitions in Italy and Spain to strengthen its leadership and growth
- The investment will enhance the Group’s technological capacity and generate significant commercial and operational synergy
The Prim Group has finalised the purchase of the Italian company Easytech and the Catalan company Teyder, operations that strengthen the company’s leadership and growth both in Spain and internationally.
Both acquisitions accelerate the overall completion of the company’s Strategic Plan, designed with an outlook towards 2025 and involving an ambitious growth programme. Said growth is to be achieved both organically and through selective and profitable investments.
The incorporation of Easytech and Teyder into the Group will improve its technological capabilities in terms of the manufacture and development of innovative products in the fields of orthotics, physiotherapy and physio-aesthetics. It will also allow the group to expand its valuable offers to mobility and healthcare clients, while creating important commercial and operational ties.
Through the acquisition of Easytech, an Italian company based in Florence with annual sales of €2.7 million last year, Prim takes another step forward in its international growth strategy and opens up new markets in Europe and in Asia, specifically in Japan and China. The Italian company has over 20 years of experience in the manufacture and marketing of high-tech physiotherapy and rehabilitation products.
On the other hand, Teyder is a Spanish company based in Barcelona and has been active in the Spanish market for over 30 years. In 2021 it had a turnover of €3.3 million. Its acquisition will allow the Prim Group to expand its catalogue of orthotic, electric mobility and technical aid products and services, as well as strengthen its technological capabilities for the manufacture of advanced textile products.
These purchases are in addition to those made during the first half of the year which included the incorporation of Valencia company Laboratorios Herbitas into the Group as well as the company Aura Robotics, which have also furthered Prim’s revenue growth and technological innovation.
In relation to the opening up and consolidation of new markets, the acquisition of Easytech follows that made of the Portuguese company Farma Mais, completed at the end of 2021 to strengthen its presence in the Portuguese market.
