The PRIM Group obtains its Family-Responsible Company certification

In 2020, the PRIM Group reaffirmed its commitment to its employees’ work-life balance and their professional, personal and social development by obtaining the Spanish EFR seal, which accredits it as a Family-Responsible Company.

The certification process was carried out at PRIM S.A. and Establecimientos Ortopédicos Prim, S.A. It involved months of work and included innovative processes such as active listening, with outstanding contributions made from our workforce that culminated in the comprehensive evaluation of the measures implemented by PRIM to six management areas by means of an external audit, these areas included: employment quality, family support, training and professional development, equal opportunities and the company’s management and leadership styles.

In this regard, the EFR model is a tool that provides a simple and effective methodology to enable work-life balance processes within the scope of professional social responsibility and equal opportunities. That is why the awarding of the EFR Certificate is only the first step on our company’s journey to gradually incorporate improvements and new initiatives that contribute to the consolidation of a responsible work culture.

The EFR certificate is granted by the Fundación Másfamilia and is supported by the Ministry of Health, Consumer Affairs and Social Welfare. The initiative has been recognised as a “good practice” by the United Nations, which makes it the highest recognition in terms of work-life balance and equality that currently exists in Spain.
